High alpine excursion in Robiei

A trip to the Alps, that majestic region where the proud golden eagle nests among imposing cliffs and shimmering glaciers, awaits you in one of the most remote places in Switzerland - Robiei. There, far from lakes and palm trees, you will discover a fascinating landscape. We will provide you not only with the right provisions, but also with experienced guides.

Robiei is situated at an altitude of 1890 metres, at the foot of the Basòdino glacier. The alpine region is rich in lakes and is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna. Together we will observe the impressive nature and hopefully see some ibex, chamois, marmots or birds of prey.

From Robiei you can set out on various walks and hikes to discover the Basodino area, its glacier and the many small lakes in the surrounding area. The Basòdino Glacier nature trail (360 degrees) and the nature trail inside the Robiei dam are particularly interesting. In addition, the farms, huts and "sprügh" (rooms hollowed out under large boulders) that still exist at high altitudes are a reminder of the vital importance of alpine farming in this area.
