Become a winemaker for a day and craft your blend: taste, combine, and experiment until you create your perfect assemblage.
Guided by our winemaker Ettore Biraghi, you’ll uncover the secrets of viticulture, grape varieties, and regional distinctions.
After a brief introduction to the winemaking process, you’ll have the chance to experiment with six wines selected directly from our barrels. With professional tools at your disposal, you can create your exclusive and unique blend.

Outline of the experience
- Welcome at our Enoteca Alimentare in Ascona by the winemaker or sommelier from Cantina alla Maggia
- Introduction to the world of wine, with an overview of the winemaking process and the unique characteristics of the selected grape varieties
- Blending Workshop – with pipettes, graduated cylinders, and notebooks, create your blend by testing different proportions to find the perfect combination
- Our winemaker or sommelier will taste your blends, offering technical feedback on your creations
- Tour of our barrel cellar
- Lunch or dinner in the Sala Merlot, featuring local cold cuts and cheeses, Terreni alla Maggia risotto, and dessert

What is included
The price includes all wines and materials for creating your personal cuvée, professional guidance throughout the activity, lunch or dinner (cold cuts, cheeses, Terreni alla Maggia risotto, dessert, water, and coffee), one bottle of your cuvée delivered within a week of the event, and the rental and preparation of the room.
What is not included
Wines consumed during the aperitif and dinner, tastings, or the service of distilled spirits.
