Handling Plastic

Our five-star hotels – Storchen Zürich, Widder Hotel, Alex Lake Zürich, Castello del Sole – along with Château de Raymontpierre, are elevating their commitment to environmental protection through meaningful, forward-thinking initiatives. In guest areas, single-use plastic materials have largely been replaced with high-quality and sustainable alternatives. Some remaining stocks are still being gradually used up. The hotels work closely with suppliers to find innovative products and replace plastic as a packaging material. Plastic waste is collected and disposed of separately in the hotels to ensure that the majority can be recycled.
